Nature Experiences and Personal Development at Camp Quinebarge
Established in 1936, Camp Quinebarge is a youth recreational summer camp located in Moultonborough, New Hampshire, focusing on kindness, friendship, and fun. The camp’s 70 acres of wooded forest and lakefront property rank among the finest camp facilities in the nation, with activities ranging from boating and swimming to hiking and rock climbing. In addition to these and other outdoor activities, the Camp Quinebarge staff strives to help campers increase their self-awareness and personal responsibilities, escape from electronics and other modern distractions, and develop social skills and a respect for nature, among other goals.
Camp Quinebarge has developed relationships with numerous community businesses and organizations, including the Squam Lakes Science Center and the Lake Kanasatka Watershed Association, as well as professional groups such as the American Camp Association and the New Hampshire Camp Directors Association. The camp also maintains relationships with philanthropic service providers, like the Lakes Region Food Pantry.
